This was acutally a mountain bike race, but it is impossible to add a mountain bike event. Who is in charge of this site anyway? Is it that crazy to think that a couple roadies would actually get mud on there smooth, moisturized legs?!!
Anyway I raced the expert race at Sugar Mountain. We did three 7 mile laps, each lap had a 5 mile climb followed by a 2 mile singletrack descent. It was a riot, I got into a good rhythm on the climb each time and tried not to to wreck on the descent, although I did a few times. I managed to put a good few minutes into the next few guys and won my first mountain bike race since I was 14. Anyway it was a good time and a good change of pace.
